Eric Klein, dba ebjk art, is a Chicago-based abstract artist known for his experimental style and positivity-driven paintings.  Self-taught, Eric began in 2017 when a wine and paint shop closed and gave away their abandoned canvases. Already having starting ideas or images down on canvas, Eric viewed painting over them as a conversation between himself and the original artist.  In 2021, he began to display his work locally, and in 2023 ebjk Art was formed.  While he now works primarily on fresh canvas or paper, Eric still incorporates multiple interacting layers of imagery and writing for the audience to discover over time.
